Maintain the room at approximately 20°C with relative humidity between 45% and 60%. Remove dust, sand and grit regularly using a soft broom, static mop or vacuum cleaner fitted with suitable floor-protection pads.
Clean spills immediately and never allow moisture to pool on the floor. When cleaning, use a well-wrung damp mop – never a wet cloth and ensure that any residual moisture evaporates within one minute. Use felt protectors beneath furniture and suitable entrance mats in high-traffic areas.
Do not use traditional wax or steel wool on lacquer-finished flooring. UV-oiled floors may require an appropriate oil-refresher treatment every three to six months, depending on their condition and the product manufacturer’s instructions. Consult a qualified flooring professional before repairing damaged areas.
