At Forestry Timber, our floors come in a wide range of colours, textures and dimensions that make every one of our engineered hardwood floors look incredible.
Colour is achieved by using many, and often multiple, types of wood treatments and processes: for example, smoking, fuming, and the use of a proprietary reactive stain technologies on our wood floors.
The texture of our engineered hardwood flooring adds a distinctive look and feel to help you achieve your perfect scheme. Scraping or brushing planks by hand creates a distressed look and feel evocative of reclaimed wood, while the technique of wire brushing begets a more modern and sophisticated appearance.
The techniques used to add texture to the wood – coupled with our reactive stain technology – create wood flooring with an almost 3-dimensional appearance while being smooth and comfortable underfoot.
